  • General Information About Personalised Flags

    Ideal for any occasion, make your own flag using our user-friendly online design system. Our personalised flags are available in four pre-set sizes, or you can choose custom dimensions - ideal for events, parties, or even to support a cause. Choose how you want to hang your custom flags, and we will add eyelets, a pocket to thread a pole through, or leave the finish to you.

    Our expert printing technique creates a lasting print on one side of your personalised flag, which will show through to the other side. This way, you don't need to spend extra time lining the front and back up. We do all this without changing the texture of the custom flags, so they stay windproof and flutter wonderfully in any breeze.

    Design your own flag using our handy design tool and pick the size and finish of your personalised flags. Then you can make your own flag design and view any changes that you make in real-time. Note that the default setting for the pocket or eyelets is on the left-hand side, with the option to adjust and rotate your image to suit all your flag needs.

    • Various Size Options

      Your custom flags come in four different size options including 18"x12", 2'x3', 3'x5', and 4'x6'. Choose the size which best suits your design, as well as where you want to hang your personalised flags.

    • Voile Fabric

      All our custom flags are made from a specialist voile fabric. This is super lightweight and has a degree of stiffness to it. It has a slight sheen and is quick-dry, with splashproof qualities. Made using a plain open weave.

    • Three Finishes

      When you make your own flag, you can choose from three finishes. Eyelets will place two eyelets on the left hand (top and bottom) of your personalised flags. The pocket option gives your custom flags a place to thread a pole through, or you can opt to have neither.

    • Superior Printing

      Our top-of-the-range sublimation methods create a high-definition print on one side of your fabric. The print is flawless, producing sharp details, and due to the nature of the fabric, your design will show through to the other side.

    • Completely Custom

      If these sizes aren't quite what you need for your flag, then you can make your own flag in a custom size. Create your own dimensions to make sure it's exactly as you need it.

    • Carefully handcrafted

      We make the process of creating your own flags easy at Photo Canvas. You design your own flag with an original image. We print your design directly onto the fabric on demand using advanced printing technology and assemble the flag parts by hand in our London factory.

    • Edging Rulers

      The online design tool features edging rulers. These sit at the top and the left side of the box. This shows you the size of each aspect of your personalised flags designs, which is ideal if you are combining multiple images, or adding text.

    • Colour Treatment Filters

      You can alter the appearance of your photos on your custom flags using the built-in colour treatment filters. Switch between your original, sepia and black and white with just a click of your mouse.

    • Text Tool

      Add text to your personalised flag with the handy tool, available from within the design system. Create and edit text as well as change font, size, style and colour, all with simple to use, convenient buttons.

    • Pattern Repeat

      If you want to repeat the pattern when you make your own flag, then you can use the pattern repeat menu. Create tiles with a standard duplicated layout, with a mirrored image or even with a half-drop, with ease.

    • Montage Options

      Make your own flag using more than one image. Upload multiple photos and you can create personalised flags using one of five pre-set montage templates. If you'd rather you can even make your own.

    • Gift wrapping

      Design your own flag in an all-over print to support a friend’s cause or event. We handcraft stunning quality satin bags or customisable silver tins to match the quality of your custom flag. So when you create your own flags, choose to have them finished in strong wrapping, ready to gift.
