Our premium wood is warp-proof and won’t crack or split throughout the years, guaranteeing a long-lasting reproduction. We always opt for 8 stretcher wedges over the traditional 4, to get that perfectly tensioned canvas which can be adjusted over time should it need it.

Superior Printing Method

Using a blend of heat and pressure, our sublimation process infuses the inks directly into the canvas fibres rather than leaving them on the surface. This delivers a durable print with rich, even colour and a sleek matte finish, without any glossy coating.

Thanks to this method, the artwork is scratch resistant and can be lightly wiped clean if required. To maintain its vibrancy, display the canvas away from direct sunlight.

Wrap Options

Wrap Choice

When creating personalised canvases with text, it’s important if your text is very close to the canvas edge, try selecting a coloured wrap option as this won’t distort the text and will add a pop of vibrancy to your design. If the focal point of your image is centred in the canvas rather than near the edges, a gallery wrap can extend and wrap your image beautifully around the frame.

Note that with designs where a large area of your canvas prints with text is left white, the stretcher bars can sometimes be visible through the canvas material.

Bleed Area

The bleed is the area around the edge of the print, where leeway is left for the printing process. This area may be cut off, so don’t include any of your text or important details within this area. However, it may still be visible on the final print, so it’s still important to fill the bleed with part of your design background.

Essential Information About Canvas Print Dimensions 

If your project requires precise sizing to fit within a specific area or recess, please review the following details carefully: 

1. Stretcher Bar Dimensions  The sizes listed in inches (") refer to the exact measurements of the wooden stretcher bars beneath the canvas. The printed canvas wraps over the bars, adding approximately 3/16" to both the height and width. 
Example: A 16" x 16" frame will result in finished dimensions of approximately 16 3/16" x 16 3/16".

2. Dimensions in Centimeters  The sizes displayed in centimeters in our dropdown menu are rounded to the nearest whole number. 
Example: A 40cm x 40cm frame actually measures 40.6cm x 40.6cm. With the canvas wrap, the final size is approximately 41.1cm x 41.1cm.

3. Size Tolerance  Please account for a size tolerance of +/- 3mm for all dimensions.
