General Information About Bespoke Rugs UK
Create bespoke rugs, UK made to order, in your choice of two stunning Velvet fabrics. Available in Velvet Shimmer with a lustrous sheen or in Marbled Velvet for a textured surface.
Your personalised rug has an anti-slip, latex sponge backing which is paired with a jute rug binder for added strength and durability. The Velvet Shimmerfabric has been tested for colour fastness and has undergone abrasion testing.
Bespoke rugs, UK handmade are available in six different size options, including two long runner styles, three rectangular options as well as a square. You can choose to design your personalised rug in portrait or landscape orientation and can add an optional cotton fringe to both, or just one of the shorter sides of your photo rug.

Two Runner Sizes
Chose from a standard size runner (180 cm x 63 cm) or a long runner (290 cm x 63 cm) for a long, thin personalised rug, ideal for hallways and landings.

Three Rectangular Sizes
For a classic rectangular rug, choose either small (90 cm x 63 cm), large (128 cm x 200 cm) or extra-large (128 cm x 290 cm).

One Square Option
If you want square custom rugs, UK made to order, our medium rug (128 cm x 128 cm) is a great option for you.

Anti-Slip Base
The base of your personalised rug is made from anti-slip latex sponge, which is paired with a jute rug binder for outstanding durability.

Two Fabric Choices
Choose from textured Marbled Velvet or high shine Velvet Shimmer for your bespoke rugs, UK handmade to order.

Optional Cotton Fringe

Air It Out
Due to the non-slip base, there is a natural odour which emits from the base/back of your personalised rug. This is entirely normal and will dissipate after the first few days.

Mind The Hemming
We advise keeping important details away from the edges of your custom rugs, UK made. They could become lost in the hemming of your rug.

You can use multiple photos to design your own rug with one of our montage pre-sets, by arranging them yourself or using our new smart collage tool.

Essential Information About Canvas Print Dimensions
If your project requires precise sizing to fit within a specific area or recess, please review the following details carefully:
1. Stretcher Bar Dimensions The sizes listed in inches (") refer to the exact measurements of the wooden stretcher bars beneath the canvas. The printed canvas wraps over the bars, adding approximately 3/16" to both the height and width.
Example: A 16" x 16" frame will result in finished dimensions of approximately 16 3/16" x 16 3/16". 2. Dimensions in Centimeters The sizes displayed in centimeters in our dropdown menu are rounded to the nearest whole number.
Example: A 40cm x 40cm frame actually measures 40.6cm x 40.6cm. With the canvas wrap, the final size is approximately 41.1cm x 41.1cm. 3. Size Tolerance Please account for a size tolerance of +/- 3mm for all dimensions. 4. Custom Size Option For exact measurements, we provide a custom-cut frame service.
